Issue: Pending disabled functionality

IT Asset Management (Cloud)

Problem

Creation of new computer records, whether manually in IT Asset Management or automatically from imported computer inventories, will be disabled , as shown in the alert.

To view your IT Asset Management license details information, navigate to the IT Assets License page Administration > IT Asset Management Settings > IT Asset License page.

Cause

Either (or both) of the following:
  • The number of active computers (excluding 'Remote Devices') recorded in your inventory now exceeds the number authorized by your IT Asset Management license.
  • Where servers are separately licensed, the number of active servers recorded in your inventory now exceeds the number authorized by your IT Asset Management license.

To view your IT Asset Management license details information, navigate to the IT Assets License page Administration > IT Asset Management Settings > IT Asset License page.

Fix

Either:
  • Contact your Flexera representative to purchase a license extension
  • Reduce the number of active computers in your IT Asset Management records
  • Where servers are separately licensed, reduce the number of active servers in your IT Asset Management records.
