InstallShield 2008
If you have an Internet connection, you can use the Check for Updates feature in InstallShield to obtain the latest InstallShield merge modules, objects, and setup prerequisites; service packs; patches; and other updates for the version of InstallShield that you are using. The Standalone Build is also available through the Check for Updates feature to users who have the Premier edition of InstallShield.
Task
To check for updates:
On the Tools menu, click Check for Updates.
InstallShield launches FLEXnet Connect, which checks for updates. When an update is available, you can do the following:
